More Scandinavian Kitchens
Here are some more...I haven't put someup in awhile, I'm definitely overdue. Me, I can never get enough. The look varies, but the common thread is usually "eclectic" and "modern".
Is there such a thing as a modern eclectic? That's a GOOD question! Sure, why not? If the news says the blue and red states are leaning toward one or the other candidate, I think I can say a Scandinavian kitchen often leans toward a modern eclectic look. Sounds good to me! These are from Metropolitan Home, Bo Bedre, and Bolig.
Which one do you like best?

i love the first picture, especially because of how tall the ceilings are - makes things look so much more spacious as well as enhances the appearance.

I love the blue herringbone tile...so interesting and bold yet subtle with the tone on tone colors. I would love to see the rest of that kitchen...

I'm obsessed with that chandelier in the first picture...or is that a pendant light? It looks like it could be either...great shots here!
I like to all model, the importance is make suitable to space of your kitchen.
Where do you find these wonderful kitchens? I love looking at them. I would have to that the first picture is by far my favorite. I love how clean the color scheme is, and the mixture of interesting pieces, like the chandelier. Also, I think that a couple of these kitchens are laid out very well with maximum cooking space. Having more space for cooking is great design concept for a kitchen…. It keeps clutter down while giving the cook a lot of room to work with!
I also really enjoy the white wood paneling in the picture at the bottom! I love that it makes the room look clean, and cozy…. Even with a lot of clutter on the shelves it makes the room look much more organized and ready to use. I also like the image in a more recent post where the wooden paneling was painted many different shades of blue and green…. What a way to add character to the room! That is a dangerous way to go…. It might add more clutter than visual interest, but I think if you can keep the rest of the room very organized and clutter-free it is a great way to go!
And I really enjoy the blue tiling in the second picture! Since everything around it is very simple and white it was a great way to add interest to the back wall. It looks like a room that a family would enjoy using daily.
