Blanco Silgranit II Sink

BLANCO, German innovator of finely-crafted sinks and faucets, announces the addition of a new 1-3/4 PERFORMA SILGRANIT II sink design with an aesthetically pleasing low divide that accommodates large pot handles and other oversized items. The new low divide was developed in collaboration with BLANCO's Design Council, a group of elite kitchen design professionals and bloggers. "Lower dividers allow long-handled pots to sit easily in the basin, explains Leslie Clagett, BLANCO Design Council member and editor of KBCULTURE. "From a strictly aesthetic point of view, the top of a tall divider is not a pretty sight, somehow it seems old fashioned." Susan's notes: I think Blanco produces beautiful sinks. I have owned two - one by choice and another inherited in a home I purchased. The low divider is extremely useful and aesthetically pleasing. One side can have dirty dishes, the other side may have a strainer with vegetables or defrosting foods, separate from surrounding food items on dirty dishes. Silgranit II is virtually indestructible. The design of Blanco sinks is always elegant. Not much not to like.
