Ann Sacks Lucian Glass Tile

The new Lucian line of glass tiles from Ann Sacks is positively luscious.  Reminiscent of time worn beach glass glittering in the sand or delicate french candy drops, how can you not want to have this in your home just to run your fingers over it each time you pass it by?  This would add a wonderful serene quality to any kitchen or bathroom and soften up a more minimal look.  I see this working with so many aesthetics from traditional to industrial chic.  The only problem - choosing between the rich "truffle," ethereal"rain," or calming "azure."  I'll have one of each please.

I visited an Ann Sacks showroom to see these tiles. Yes, the problem is choosing between the matte finish (beach glass look) and the gloss finish. Then the next problem is choosing between the great colors. These tiles offer a variety of sizes to meet many needs. I am trying to choose for my kitchen back splash and have yet to make a a decision. How important is the floor color when choosing back splash color?
