Scandinavian Kitchens - Black & White

I've previously talked before about Scandinavian kitchens being very light in color, and they often are. White seems to be the common theme. When white, neutral woods, and black, come together, it's very exciting. We'll save color for another day, but these kitchens are no less wonderful without punches of color. Look at these beautiful images from Bo Bedre. Notice the floors, aren't they amazing?

Do you want some inspiration for white or neutral accessories? Look at this amazing blog on Scandinavian design. And, for more inspiration, another Scandinavian home design blog. I will try to feature Scandinavian design blogs every time I do this series, to add the "real" look. I also hope to receive comments and design advice on Scandinavian kitchens from those who live in them!

Hello Susan! Thank you for your kind comment in my blog. I´m flattered you want to use my blog as inspiration for Scadinavian kitchens. I wish I could write my posts in english too but my english isn´t to good I´m afraid. Most of the pictures are from my home, some are from my mothers home. Kind regards Jenny

Yes, aren't these beautiful?? Love this look. Wait till you see what I have in store for you for French kitchens, tomorrow. They are all charming in their own way, and actually pretty incredible too, compared to what we are used to. It's amazing how a kitchen can come to life. And, yes, the fireplace...I'm sure that's against every town's code in the U.S., having an open flame like that, but I'm going to do a thing soon on fireplaces in kitchens, so I'll have some options!

I love those floors and I love black furniture. We recently bought a new kitchen table and the chairs are black. I love adding that element of "color" if you will. Very nice!

My heart skipped a beat (seriously) when I saw the top three photos. If I to choose my ultimate kitchen from photos, I just found them! Thanks.
